Formerly know as the Nashville Spartans, they have since changed their name to Red River Spartans. This organization was based out of Nolensville, TN but moved to Clarksville in 2024. Originally founded in 2022, they were exclusively a Tier III juniors premier program. While our site does not cover junior level hockey, the Spartans have fielded a USA Hockey Sanctioned 18u AAA Elite team for the 2025/2026 season. Developed to serve as a feeder program into their premier team and a pathway into collegiate hockey, this team provides those at the 18u level with another avenue into AAA hockey in the Nashville area. Elite teams play showcase tournaments to increase player exposure. This is different from Tier I hockey programs . Their 18u AAA team will play their inaugural season in the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL), which is a part of the Tier I Hockey Federation (THF)
